My Sable is surviving the heat so far and keeping trips to the yard to a minimum. As you can see, she still has the skin/coat issue with no hair except on her head, legs and belly. I'm starting to think that the thyroid meds are just a placebo. I need to seek a second opinion for my girl. But she seems so happy and has a great appetite as always.
It sure seems that way. My babies don't venture out in this extreme heat that we have been enduring for over a month now. Joe prefers to stay in the chair my late Father occupied most of the time while Sable is off somewhere stretched out on a cool tile floor.
My sweet Lucy loved to ride. I know. All canines do, probably. I think of her every time I see a smiling pooch. It's been almost 2 years since she left me.
Despite being a bit neglectful of the ole blog as of late I can not upload images for a post since the new Windows 10 upgrade. I am not a patient man so I haven't spent much time investigating or trying to solve the problem.
The pooches and I are tolerating the extreme heat and no rain in the entire month of July after floods in early June. Typical Houston weather. Hope to post some pics soon.
