Sable has surpassed Lucy when it comes to jumping in the water and retrieving the ball. Lucy has slowed down somewhat the last couple of years. But Lucy is only 8 months older than Sable?
It's funny that it took Sable so long to get comfortable in the water. Lucy took to the water immediately as a pup. She enjoys the swimming. She's not competitive.

They are such happy pups. Monty is faster than Sam, but there is a 6 year difference going on - so we expect it. Sam doesn't want to go in the water though - he is happy waiting on dry land until Monty fetches the ball!

I haven't had Bandit in the water (other than the bathtub) in a long time.
I wish my Harper was OK with water.
She only recently started enjoying a ball, so perhaps there is hope.
