Sugar Land's Finest At Pawm Springs Dog Park

We finally got a break in our weather this week and I promised myself that I would take the baby's to the dog park.  We missed the sunshine and blue skies of previous days but it was still in the low 70's today.
When I spotted a couple of Sugar Land's police officers at the park, I assumed they had been called for Joe's behavior.
If he wasn't pawing or humping every dog in sight, he was pissing on the park seats.
They are a poor excuse of a place to sit.  I see more dogs on them than people.
At any rate, there was a good crowd at the park and Joe was his normal social self.
Sable, on the other hand, was slow to get in the water but soon found her game and enjoyed her time.
But she seemed to be looking for Lucy all the time.  It's sad to see her at times like these without Lucy by her side.

Sugar Land Memorial Park

My girls are always ready for a ride and some time at the park. I thought I would take them to the new Sugar Land Memorial Park this past weekend. It's much closer than the Millie Bush park where I usually take them.
It was much colder there with the wind gusts. The park sits on the banks of the Brazos River so maybe that's why it seemed so much colder there than at home. Maybe the cold is why no one was there as well. My girls love the cold and I do too when dressed appropriately. But the park is not pet friendly yet. There are no fenced in areas where dogs can run freely. Heck, the parking lot is not even paved, just gravel. I hope they don't plan on leaving it that way. At any rate, we enjoyed the time outdoors in the fresh air.
