Lazy Sunday

As the vet tells me, Joe's not a puppy anymore.  He likes his down time.

We've Been Lazy Lately

Well, more so than usual.  We haven't had much play time due to the weather plus our playground, aka dog park, has been closed for over a week for spring planting etc.  Unfortunately, we all seem to adapt to the lazy life with ease.  Hopefully, more fun times ahead.

The Weekend Is All A Blur

Sunday was a wet dreary day here in southeast Texas.  Staying in bed and reading the paper(yes I still take the paper) seemed to be the best way to pass the time. But Sable kept waking me up for a snack.

Lazy Weekend

I'm afraid the girls, Joe, Dad, and I had a rather uneventful weekend.  We spent much of Sunday watching TV, golf, and waiting for the much predicted heavy rains.  They would love some serious outdoor fun.  However, it's quite the chore taking all three at once even more so if my Dad goes as well.

And then there's always the ear issues.  I thought all I had to consider was swimmer's ear but it seems all the pollen that spring brings takes issue with a dog's ear according to my vet?  Lucy had a hematoma on her ear last week and I had to take her to the vet. It was swollen like a balloon. I thought she had been stung by a bee. All of them love walking in between the blooming Indian Hawthornes  that have been loaded with blooms and bees as well.  But the vet said that pollen makes them shake their heads excessively and can result in a hemtoma.  Good gosh there's always something.

We hope you atleast had some fun over the weekend.  Have a good week!

A Lazy Weekend

It's a chilly rainy weekend here in southeast Texas. As a result, the girls and I are being quite lazy laying around and doing nothing. They seem to love watching me change channels on the TV non stop. Hey, I don't have cable so I'm in a constant search for life out there. I hope you are safe and warm this winter day.
