Who's Been Sleeping In My Bed?

Actually, I don't let my girls sleep with me that often. Only on the coldest of nights do they have that luxury which in southeast Texas isn't very often. I think I'm entitled to one dust and hair free zone in my home. Don't you think? But Sable does like to lay on the bed and watch me choose my clothes and get dressed. Who wouldn't? lol They don't really pout or whine when I close the gate behind me down the hall and go to bed. But with long work days, it seems that is the only way I can have more time with them if I let them sleep with me.
Lucy can leave the bed and I never know it during a good nights sleep. But Sable, on the other hand, is a different story. I wake up with her looking down at me which creeps me out to be honest. She's constantly scooting a little closer to me which actually feels pretty good to my back on a cold night. Or if she gets hungry, she is not beyond head butting me and rolling me out of bed. Who gets the munches in the middle of the night? I don't know who she takes that after????

Lucky Bandit's too small to jump on the bed by himself. He prefers a pillow by my nightstand, unless he's whining to get up and join us.

We let Sam sleep with us for the same reason. I very seldom get to the see the boys during the busy work week. Monty, on the other hand, thinks he needs to sleep on our pillows. He has been invited up only once.

sleeping with the dog is one of my life's greatest pleasures; fascinating she won't sleep 'up with us' but takes the end by the feet.

I like sleeping on the bed, but only if the humans don't fidget too much. I like to spread out, so if they start taking up too much space, I have to find another spot.

You can't blame your girl for waking you up if she's hungry!
