It's Lucy's Birthday!

Or so says the email from the vet.  They told me that she was 6-7 weeks old when I got her the last week in June.  We will try and celebrate again on that day.  At any rate, I left work early today and stopped by the barbecue place to get some beef ribs.  Of course they were out and I am pissed since I took the exit but I try and cheer up for my girls sake.  When I get home early the girls and Joe are so excited it's as if they know something is up.  We go to the dog park. I'm ashamed how long it has been since our last visit, and a heavy mist starts to fall.  It's funny that they like the water but not getting sprinkled on.  Soooo we only stayed for an hour or so. We were the only ones there for the majority of the time, much to Joe's disappointment. When we got home I warmed up a rotisserie chicken giving the skin to Lucy and picking it to the bone for them. Then we finished off with a Frosty Paw ice cream.
I guess they all had a good time.  Lucy was limping by bedtime so she'll pay tomorrow for all of her partying.
Happy Birthday to my first dog Lucy!

Late Night Cravings

My girls and Joe seem to know immediately when we are in a drive-thru for grub.  They start panting, slobbering, and get all fidgety.  I've been making too many of these trips since there is more daylight in the evening. So it's not really cravings but my lack of planning. I come home and work on projects in the yard and before I know it is after 8:00 PM.  At any rate, the pooches love to make a food run anytime of day or night.
Have a great weekend!

Going "Cujo"

I keep telling him, over and over to leave Lucy alone.
That she's going to go all Cujo on him but...
 He never learns.
Lucy's dark side.

He's A Bad Boy

Don't try and look all innocent Joe.
When are you going to learn?
You've lived with me almost two years now.

Yet you continue to harass and herd my girls. Sable needs the exercise but...
One of these days.
