Soaking Up Some Sun

Visitor From Hell

Actually this is Joe my fathers dog and he hails from the hills of Arkansas. As my dogs get older I have come to enjoy them even more. They are less destructive inside and outside as well. My back yard actually had grass all summer. Then my father has his car accident last month and he along with Joe come to my home to recoup. Joe is a mutt:the vet said possibly a Rottweiler/Doberman (yikes) mix. In reality he is rather sweet but at 7 months he is a ball of energy. He would not stop humping my girls so I took him and had him fixed at the SPCA. This photo was taken the next day and as you can see the neutering did not slow him down at all. Our First Snow Together

When they first came out of my grandfathers basement onto this fresh skiff of snow they were whining and didn't know what to do. Soon they were having a blast. They are much like their master:they do not like the heat.

Showing Me Love

As girls sometimes do we have our squabbles but my big sister Lucy always shows me some love.

Here I am sunbathing at three months of age. I don't do this past March. I just get too hot here in my black coat.

We Like to Lay Around

When we were just pups we liked to lay around and sleep a lot. Well actually we still do that quite a bit since our Master is gone 12 or more hours a day.

Under Lucy's Guidance

I learned how to beg and to jump up on my master and anyone else that enters our home.

It Was Love At First Sight

When I first came to my new home my big sister showed me some love. Her rough housing made me a better dog to survive in the real world.

Let Us Introduce Ourselves

Hello. My name is Sable and I am a Lab mix. My mother is a full blood Labrador but her master let her get out past curfew and she got knocked up by a neighbors chow. I have purple spots on my tongue and when I know you better I will let you see for yourself. I was born November 13, 2003. Now I'd like to introduce my older sister.
Hi. My name is Lucy and I'm an AKC Golden Retriever. I live in the Houston area and I was born in May of 2003. And I'm not that much older.
