We're one to talk. No one dislikes the heat more than my girls. Even at sunrise with the temperatures in the low 80's my girls would rather be inside. Sure they would enjoy an early morning swim but with my father's dog with us now it's tough taking all three to the park. We hope you have a good weekend!
Lucy is carrying around her baby more than ever these days. This was one of her first toys and I can't believe it has survived 8 years. I'm not sure if it's the stress of my father and Joe living with us now or what.
Well sometimes he does. And more often than not, he is terrible. When he looks at you if you didn't know him you'd think he was going to attack at any moment. He has this solemn look about him. He rarely pants even in our hot weather. He should smile more. Lucy could teach him a thing or two about smiling. And as far as being terrible let's just say he has his days. Just in the last week or so he has confiscated a loaf of bread, a pack of hamburger buns, a can of Pringles, and a box of saltine crackers. Needless to say, Lucy, and especially Sable, rather enjoy this aspect of Joe's behavior. I can't imagine keeping Joe if something happens to my father. But he can be affectionate at times. He's just... terrible at times.
Although Lucy was my first and is my pretty girl Sable is my baby. She was the most destructive as a puppy and is quite the chow hound but she is so affectionate. She loves looking at me while waiting for approval to give me kisses.
