It's National Dog Day

My three babies back in 2012 at Millie Bush Bark Park.  Lucy was still with us and Sable was healthy and Joe and my late Father had just moved in with me.

Poor Sable

Sable always manages to find the coolest spot in the house.  Unfortunately, with her hip and leg issues she has a difficult time getting up unless she is on carpet.  She seems so happy but she must be in some pain.

Sable can't stand on her hind legs and look out the front window any longer but she is still happy to go for a ride.

I Told You STOP!

Yeah, I know.  It looks as if I slammed on the brakes and my boy Joe was not aware. Not true.  It seems they are always aware when I go for the brake: they brace themselves.

Monday Memories

My sweet Lucy loved Sable as her own. When I brought 6 week old Sable home Lucy was about 9 months old.  It was one of the best decisions that I made as a pet owner for they were inseparable till Lucy's death.  I wish that I had more pictures of them at this time but I had just got my first digital camera and was a bit skeptical.

Healing Process

Sable's sore spot seems to be healing ever so slowly.  I'm sure hampered by her thyroid condition.

Weekend Wishes

Despite it being so hot here in Houston, Sable insists on wearing her opera gloves for the weekend.
