With Their Nose To The North

Joe and Sable seem to have their eye out for that first snow flake. That's right after some light rain for about 24 hours (YEAH) Sunday evening we are now waiting for temperatures to drop to below freezing. Some areas to the north of Houston have reported snow flurries but it won't happen this far south. At any rate, the girls, Joe, and I love this cooler weather.

Pawfect? Well it is because there's a chance of rain this weekend and we all know Texas needs rain. But Lucy, like her master, does not like these balmy days. Or is Lucy just weary of Joe?

What A Pain

Sable has an ear infection. She's had them before. I always know when she starts shaking her head. So now we are on the routine of ear wash and ear drops twice a day for two weeks. She is so smart when she sees me reach for the bottles she runs outside. And the real kicker, while struggling with Sable Lucy came up and nipped me on the back side. WHAT? I can't believe she would think I would harm Sable or either of them. It seems like Lucy done that to me before when I had to wrestle Sable to give her medicine. See how fast they turn?
At any rate, the vet trip cost $162. Is that typical in your area for office visit, express anal glands, check ear for bacterial infection, plus meds?????

Exhausted

This is how we act when the temps are in the mid 80's and the humidity 90% plus all week.

It's The Holiday Season:Sometimes Tempers Flare

You can be relaxing minding your own business.

Then someone or something triggers that nasty temper of yours..

Then the situation escallates into quite a scene.

And you're not happy till you have the last word.

Then a calm, with a little guilt mixed in, comes over you and all is tolerable, if not well, with your world.
