Twilight At Millie Bush Bark Park

By the time the sun gets up in the sky, the heat is on.

That's why getting to the park by 6:00 AM is best. We can get almost an hour of play time in before the sunrise.

There were a lot of friendly dogs there as usual.

But just walk on by please. Lucy is no park greeter. She's a guard dog!

Lucy and Sable just want to do one thing and that is swim for the ball.

It's sad to see them slow down. It's like when precious children turn into sulky teenagers. You know it's an end of a wonderful phase of life. Of course they are more energetic in the cool months.

They still seem puzzled over the parched Texas soil.
We hope you have a great week!

What would they do without that park! Stay cool...wish I could send you some of ours. Tempted to turn on the heat here.

Sam has reached those years too. I still see the puppy in his eyes, but his body can't keep up.

As usual, it looks like they are having a great time!
