Is it a family thing or a canine characteristic? BOL I suppose some family friends do the right thing and go lay down some where during meals but my Father is constantly slipping treats under the table.

Is it a family thing or a canine characteristic? BOL I suppose some family friends do the right thing and go lay down some where during meals but my Father is constantly slipping treats under the table.

Our dog is training me via shameless begging, those big droopy eyes and getting to me. as a consequence, the begging behavior is more frequent and more aggressive. But, it is working!
Zoe used to be terrible about begging. She would whine, bark and drool until you gave in. Now we simply say "don't beg" and she'll let out a big sigh and go lay down elsewhere. It takes a lot of self control to deny those puppy eyes some of your table scraps hehe.
